1 prepared graham cracker crust, if homemade let cool before making filling
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
3/4 Key lime juice*
5 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 can Reddi-whip (optional, but recommended*)
Preheat oven to 375*
Combine sweetened condensed milk, lime juice and egg yolks. Pour into crusted.
Bake 15 minutes.
Cool pie completely and spread Reddi-whip over top.
*You can find Key lime juice in the juice. But if you can't find it, I heard you can combine half lime juice and half lemon juice to get the right texture.
**Reddi-whip is my favorite brand. I am a loyalist, what can I say?
Because of Dexter I know that real Key lime pie is made with sweetened condensed milk and has no food coloring in it. :)
