Iced or Ice Tea

Or [insert name here].

I was never much of a iced tea person until I met Andrew. His mother is from the South, so I quickly learned to appreciate ice, cold tea.

I bought a large 1 gallon Rubbermaid pitcher a few months ago so I can always have iced tea ready to drink. However, the 1 gallon pitcher is a bit large for my small 'frigerator. Today I have come up with a (hopefully!) good solution--for literally fresh iced tea. Since I bought a coffee maker I find it more efficient to make iced tea that way instead of the waitforeverforhotwatertoboil method.

Make a few servings via coffee maker. Put hot tea in a small container with lid (Ball jar?!?) and put in the refrigerator until cold. When ready for iced tea, put brewed tea in a glass full of ice. Dilute tea with water if necessary. Screw the jar lid back on and use rest of mix until ready for next glass.

PS You can't really make iced tea by simply letting a tea bag seep in cold water. It just doesn't work. AND I could just buy a smaller pitcher. But that means buying something...with money...eww. I am going to make do with what I have.
