Didn't spread out to melting buttery globs.
Tonight. I made round-ish, golden colored peanut butter & milk chocolate chip cookies.
For the first time, I made picture worthy cookies.
Seriously.
By accident, I combined two recipes. I started to make Hersey's Classic Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip cookies--then realized that's not the recipe I was going for. I wanted to use real peanut butter. I meant to make n bake Nestle's Toll House PB and Milk Chocolate cookies.
2 1/4 all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 sticks of butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
8 to 16oz milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. In a medium bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside.
In a KA standing mixer bowl combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter until creamed together.
Add egg to butter mixture--mix until combined.
Add flour mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Form dough into balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 375. Cool on cookie sheet for 4 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
