My Shopping Trip

This week was really great. I once again got some "true deals" and some other things I've been meaning to get/try.

This weeks deals/steals are as follows:

• Kelty tent. Doing my research, I found out that you have to be careful with Kelty tents. The brand is known for producing great quality camping equipment with an affordable price. With some models of tents, Kelty cuts corners and so forth. From reviews, I think I made the right choice in purchasing a Kelty tent. It looks like the price went up by $3 from the time I purchased it.
• 2 pack of tarps. The ever so useful polyethylene tarp. Kind of got this for the tent...to use as a footprint. Purchased for $6.99, got a $5 mail in rebate, if all goes well I "paid" $1.99 for this.
• Topsy Turvy Strawberry Planter. Paid $10, had a $8.67 gift card. Do the math.
• Menerds shopping bag. Paid $1. Had a mail in rebate, "paid" nothing for it.
• Purina Beyond Cat Food 1# box. Paid $2.79, had a $2 off coupon.
• Swiffer Dry Mop Refills. BOGO. Purchased 1 at $7.14, got the other for nothing (well, I paid sales tax)
• Honest Tea. Purchased 2 for $2, had a $1 off coupon. Kinda like BOGO...?
• Covergirl makeup. Purchase all natural liquid make up for $12, get lip gloss for free.

I think that does it for this week. Because I am super excited about the tent, I have plans to camp out in the middle of the living room. I bought s'mores stuff (minus the graham crackers). I need to go back to the store to get the forgotten graham crackers...because with out graham crackers what's a s'more?
