PS there's a big difference between gift registries and wish lists (see Amazon.com) and referring your family to the wishlist for birthday present ideas. ;)
So, my stand-by gift for weddings:
-a hand-screened flour sack towel. Or generally anything hand printed/screened is major eye candy.
-a Mrs. Meyers product. I usually go with lemon...a pretty (!) neutral scent. The basil can get a little funky (allergies etc)...unless I know the couple really well. Caldrea makes equally great products.
-cash/check. Usually reserved couples who could use it. and a bar of nice chocolate.
-cookbook and maybe something kitchen related off their registry.
My favorite stand-by is a cute flour sack towel combined with a Caldrea/Mrs Meyers product. It's almost a never fail.
YEs..you are right. I must say every single time I wash my hands I think of you and that is the truth.
