I've said it before, but I'll say it again...
I hate making meal plans.
Especially for two.
There's only so much creativity (using leftovers, finding a new dish every day) in this girl. That's why I'm excited about this week's meal plan.
Monday:
Lunch-left over Qdoba (naked ancho chile bbq chicken) from Sunday's lunch and trail mix from Costco
Dinner- tacos using left over cheeses and condiments (half bottles of hot sauce in particular)
Tuesday:
L-more left over Qdoba (did I ever tell you I've weighed the same since I can remember?)
D-sloppy joes using left over taco meat. I read that you just mix taco meat with a can of tomato soup. Never tried it, but we're gunna see how it goes
W:
L-Sunchips, peanut butter on cheddar snack crackers and trail mix from Costco, yogurt with Grape Nuts and some sort of sandwich and a can of Diet Dr. Pepper
D-Mac N Cheese made with no fat evaporated milk
Thurs:
L-Mac N Cheese
D-left over day. I go shopping Thursday morning/afternoons for the next week. I don't make new meal plans until Thursday mornings...so I know how much/little to shop for.
I plan on making/frying tortilla chips with the left over tortillas from the soft shell tacos.
Side note--my cats are tracking this lady bug's every move. Cats are here and the lady bug is there...I just hope this ends well and nothing gets broken/hurt.
