I love KFC's potato bowls. I am not even going to lie.
They run about $4-5 dollars for a bowl of mashed potatoes, corn and chicken stripes. I always skip the gravy. I can easily make this at home!
You need:
Potatoes (red skin, russet). I used russet potatoes tonight, but I would think it would be fun to use smashed red skins...potatoes.
chicken stripes, either homemade or grocer's freezer
corn, either frozen or fresh or corned, whatever you prefer
Do the following:
Boil the potatoes to until fork tender (in my family, we say "boil the heck outta of um"), mashed/smash.
Prepare/bake chicken tenders according to package.
Prepare corn whatever style you prefer...steam, microwave etc.
Throw everything together in bowl. And...viola!
You can add homemade gravy if you want.
This is so much more tasteful than fast food!
