Customer Service

Today. For the first. in a really long time I experienced the unexpected.

A new job (Andrew, not me...more later) means new clothes. For Andrew, this means going out and getting several pairs of several different colored Dockers Chino pants. I hate stores...they are all overpriced (internet killed the store?) and most of their promos are dumb. But I didn't/don't have time to wait for the internet store to shop me/us the pants. So, I've been going to Kohls.

Kohls latest promotion is for every $50 get $10 in Kohls cash. Two days ago I bought some stuff over $50, so I got $10 in Kohls cash. Today, because I had to go to the mall anyway, I went to Kohls to spend the $10. Well. The Kohls Cash thing doesn't start until tomorrow...which I found out at the cash register. Well. I'm here!

The cashier called her manager over and they talked.

They deducted $10 from my bill anyway.

I still hate department stores, but have hope that good customer service still exists.

"Yeah, the manager worked it all out for you. Have a nice day!"
