When it comes to pork, I am one of those slow roasted kinda people.
Slow roasted pork means leaving your oven on for several hours.
Oven on=heat=hot house/kitchen.
Probably the last thing you want/need on an already hot summer day.
The other day I made pulled pork in the slow cooker. Oh, boy was it delicious.
Pulled Pork
3lbs country style ribs (bone in is fine)
Bull's Eye BBQ sauce
salt
pepper
Plop meat in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 8 hours on low.
Once done, put meat on platter. Discard bones, fat (including liquid) etc.
Place pork back into slow cooker. Pull apart and add enough BBQ sauce for your liking. Serve on deli buns.
