Reality is--I will never be normal. I'll always be abnormal.
For instance, my proudest moment in life (thus far) is when I realized my cat makes for a really good monorail cat. Pretty sure it's not normal for a 22 year old to be proud of this feat...so I think I just made my point.
(If I were to play the "blame game" via losing my insanity, I could easily pick out the "blame.")
Here's a recipe. It's a good way to use your freshly harvested broccoli...
16oz twisty pasta
bunch 'o broccoli
bacon
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
red onion
dressing:
2 cups mayo
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup white vinegar
Cook pasta according to directions. Add bacon, cheese and broccoli. Mix dressing and pour over pasta mixture and chill.
This makes ALOT of salad. It's great for family style summery dinners.
The first time I made this by myself I poured the dressing over the hot pasta...which was a bad idea. The "milk" kind of melted and created a soupy mixture.
