I love cork squares. Cork boards are such a great invention

Cork boards come in handy. They hold pretty much all your little pieces of very important (and not so important) of paper. If you use cork squares...they somehow look hip and more simplified.

I got myself some big 12 x 12 squares from a local craft store. Supposedly they were self sticking. Since the time I got them until now (year's worth of time), I've fought with keeping them ON the wall.

Nothing worked! Spray glue, 3m sticky things. Nothing.

(The walls of my house are very special, they are plaster, instead of dry wall.)

Until now.

It's one of those duh! moments.

I (low temperature) hot glue gunned 12 x 12 pieces of cardboard to back of cork. Then attached some removable 3m sticky things to cardboard. And then mounted cardboard/cork to wall. Simple as that. And it only took me a year to figure it out. :)

  1. Pictures to come...so everyone knows what I'm talking about. The cork I got crumbles (off) so much that it's hard to stick anything...
