Busy

I have no life besides work and school. I wake up at 6:10am, home at 1pm, work at 4-9:30 or 10pm. On paper, that doesn't sound like much...but when you have highly demanding cats--that's a busy day!

Because I've been so busy I went grocery shopping today, Thursday the 27th of January. For a long time I loved clipping coupons. I decided that sometimes...coupons are...not.that great.

This article changed my life!

The second I finished reading that I threw away the BOGO candy I clipped. I have come up with the conclusion that getting, say a candy bar, for free--only to donate it to a food bank..is not very responsible in any way. The person spent over 70 hours clipping coupons. And took time off of work to go grocery shopping? You want to talk about lost productivity? Here's your woman.

I value certain things. Time spent clipping coupons is not very valuable to me. It's not about how much I saved, it's about how much I SPENT. Don't get me wrong--saving money is very responsible. Just go read the article!
