True deals

This week has been about "true deals." Or items I purchased on sale/clearance that I NEED...rather than purchased "just because it was on sale."

  • 12 pack Diet Snapple drinks. On sale for $5. However, I had a mail-in rebate coupon. When I got home I immediately filled out the form and put it in my mailbox...which means I got this product for nothing/not a single penny.
  • Dial hand lotion for $.50. Had a coupon for $2 off any size Dial hand lotion. Probably my favorite steal this week.
  • $10 off whole bill with a $50 minimum through Mperks. This was a one day only deal (Thursday). Basically
  • Lysol concentrated cleaner. Figured out it was much, MUCH cheaper to buy a large bottle of concentrated cleaner and get a $3 reusable spray bottle and make my own cleaner. Although I have to be careful about strength and a lot that.
Also, I discovered that bakery/bread outlet(s) are not that bad. I bought a loaf of bread and Little Muffin Bites for $4 or something like that. Both products were passed their sell-by dates, but still edible.
