2013.
So much to be grateful for.
So much to celebrate this up-coming year:

  • a new house
  • my 25th birthday.
  • 4 years of marriage
  • my college graduation
That being said and out of the way, the real reason for this blog?
Another rant/venting session about Pinterest.

Earlier in this blog, I wrote I kinda of didn't like Pinterest. I still don't and honestly, probably never will. No matter how hard I try. At first, it was because I prefer things "old school"...making 3-ring binders and pasting craft and recipe ideas into card stock seems so much more appealing to me than clicking things on (e-)boards. Don't get me wrong, you can find some REALLY great ideas on Pinterest. But I think I finally found the reason why I don't really enjoy Pinterest.

From here on out, to  make things simple I'm calling Pinterest "e-boards". I do(not?!) want to be sensitive, but really want to tell it how it is. So, just brace yourself.

Posting each and every Pinterest inspired project on FB is really, REALLY, REALLY  annoying. Surely, I am a victim of posting LOLCats  and bombarding my friends' FB feed. But for me seeing other people's Pinterest projects (and stuff) make me feel like...I'll never have what they have. I'll never have that talent, time and/or money to create that project. For being getting to that point in life where I feel happy and healthy is a hard fight. Also...

In a way, posting Pinterest inspired projects like humble bragging. I must admit I'm terrible when it comes to humble bragging, both on Twitter and FB (like that cowl I recently finish). I always remember, whenever I brag about something on FB, it's just really, really annoying.
