I'm not sure if that statement makes any sense at all.
Even though we hit a bump in our savings plan (for the new house), it's all going to work out. The funding method we thought we had isn't working out so well. With some corrective actions, the plan is still going to work out A.O.K. and I'll still get my house next March.
Some things we're doing to save money:
- taking advantage of a family members' offer to live in their basement
- every other month is fast food free month. we don't spend any money of fast food. including Starbucks.
- to help cope with no fast food: went to Costco to get "fun" foods. including sodas and cheap Vitamin Water ($.90 vs $1.25 at the store/vending machine)
You guys are amazing. All your effort will certainly pay off.
