Pumpkin Cheesecake bars

This came from Eagle brand (distributor of sweetened condensed milk). You can really use any brand of products in this recipe and it will still taste great.

1-16 oz box of pound cake mix
3 eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
8 oz cream cheese, I used neufchatel
1-14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1-15 oz can pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon salt
chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 350*
In a large bowl, beat with mixer--cake mix, 1 egg, butter and 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice until crumbly. Press into a 9x13 pan.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy-ish, add sweetened condensed milk, then remaining two eggs, pumpkin, remaining spice and salt. Mix well.

Pour over crust. Sprinkle chopped nuts over top, if you like. Bake 30-35 minutes or until set. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
