Best buy of the whole year!

I'd be kidding if I told you I paid less than $3 ($2.64 tax included) for this brand new acacia wood mortar and pestle set. But, that's the truth. Originally, $9.99.

The clearance sections at Meijer are absurd. Seriously, 75% off pestle and mortar set? Crazy.

Since Meijer's clearance items are (almost) literally scattered around the store, you almost need a careful eye. Some clearance items are really cool (like this one!) others not-so-much.

I want to say this is probably the best buy of my whole "shopping career." Seriously, a mortar and pestle is like a culinary staple.
