Exterior:
- have a large screened in front porch. For the cats.
- kitchen table near, or even in, the kitchen
- pre-1990's ranch-style. Think '70, maybe. Living in an old house is cool and all, as my last house was 1930's...but...
- Land. like 2 acres. Kind want it chic country? Like I wanna live in the country, yet have access to "big city" things.
- cat-proof furniture. This is a dream, right?
- flat screen tv mounted on the wall
- a bed like this. Maybe a king...for the 3 cats (the two I got right now+the Maine Coon we're getting in my other dream) I used to loove, as in looove, sleigh beds. Now, I think they are bulky...I've become simplistic "in my old age". Complete with a down comforter and some simplistic/solid colored bedsheets. Puppy is going to create trained.
- gas range. 4 burners is fine. I used to drool over those Viking ranges. But realized it's just too showy. Why do I need 16 burners?
- Gas oven. Built into the wall. It seems like all these newer appliances have those big ars, cheap looking knobs. :/
- Main floor laundry.You have NO idea what a luxury main floor laundry is.
- A Golden Retriever puppy
The list will probably keep growing. But I think this does it for starters.
Andrew and I joked that we should just get a condo, our criteria seems just too much. It's kind of hard. We went this to be the house we "grow old in". In a lot of ways, it has to be prefect.
I agree with you..there is so much fun in dreaming. I think you will know it when you see it.
