Shelter Pets

Although, "designer" and pure bred dogs are great...shelter dogs are be just as good, or better.

I found this great article on adopting a shelter pet. Honestly, I would never adopt from my local Humane Society. I've visited the place several times and know the whole adoption process is very complicated. Like you can't bring the dog outside to play, your confined to this one room that's supervised by a Society worker/volunteer. You have a 30 day window where you can "return" the pet for any reason. ANYWAY.

Ps There are other great "shelters" in my area. I just don't/won't adopt from the Humane Society.
