I hate Michigan Summers. Kinda, although still debating....
The humidity is a killer!
It's the strawberries, asparagus and blueberries that make me stay here. There's really nothing like Michigan berries, seriously! California can just kick it to the curb.
Nothing more and less to say right now except it's Friday and my freezer is full of the last picking of strawberries and I have the last picking of this season's asparagus in my fridge waiting to be roasted.
Side note: Due to a horrible near-death experience, I don't dare light the gas grill by myself. So for lunch, we're having an oven-roasted burger. Possibly my new favorite way to cook a burger...although, my house is pretty warm and stinky...it's safe.
