Two entries in one day?! Lucky you.
I've been kinda of opinionated about this whole Sandy Hook, Connecticut shooting. Most people are turning it into a "it's Obama's fault," "God is telling us something," and/or "where's God?"

To get somethings out of the way. Can we all agree that we're all God's children and made by God and for God? If you're a Christian, part of the purpose of life is to show and/or tell of God's mercy and endless love.

So...

First of all, this isn't about politics. We can make it into something about needing more gun laws in school zones. We can blame the president for not acting soon enough. Or we can choose to look at why the Mr Adam Lanza did what he did. Most news outlets state that he was a loner and probably had some form of aspergers. In short, he had mental issues.

 What caused him to shoot innocent little children? Voices in his head, perhaps? Take a look at this. Some important things that stuck at me: "it's easier for a poor purpose to get a gun than it is for them to get treatment for mental health issues. Personally, I believe there's a good correlation between untreated mental health issues and opening fire in (lack of a better word) inappropriate places.

And about that "where's God?" Ok, so we're supposed to tell/show people about God.
My question:
Where were you?
Going back to that mental health thing...did you vote for government officials who would help most vulnerable, mentally ill people? To paraphrase Mr. Rogers, we need helpers. In times of distress, the helpers come out. That's God.

AND about that picture of the President crying and "abortion, what's the difference" picture? Are YOU SERIOUS?  Many abortions are miscarriages, many [abortions] happen because of rape. Where's God? Instead of pointing a finger at the President, just remember there's three (fingers) pointing back at you. Have you ever thought to help poverty stricken moms/families who may have no choice but an abortion? So, just shut up and don't get one.

The country is not headed towards hell. Until we can all grow up and just accepted that our President is a liberal...just take a step back and start living life.
