Business..as in starting a business.

Let's be honest. I picked the business administration degree at my local community college because I thought it would be easy.  I want to tell you, "boy, was I ever wrong! The program is SO hard". But that would (sorta) lying.

While it IS hard and yet easier than say, biology (if you are a bio major...kudos to you!), I'm having the time of my life. You see, my parent's owe not one, but two businesses. I grow up around entrepreneurship, I see it everyday. I deal with them on a daily basis. And that's not just walking into a shop either. Talking small business and entrepreneurship and business makes me so giddy. It's me. It's what I love. ALL that being said...

Switching majors is the best decision of my life. It's like the spring board to everything else.

PS If you have a business idea, just even one, and you're passionate about making it work...check out: Kauffman Foundation. Especially this book. Ignore the negative review. He doesn't know what he's talking about. (If you want to learn about the legalities of a business, take business law). Since I ordered the book used, it didn't come with the CD, which I haven't had any problems so far. The worksheets are really helpful. As always, I recommend SCORE.org. A mentor (who IS NOT A FRIEND) is always handy to have.
