Somethings are just not worth holding onto.
Whether it's a relationship or back issues of magazines.

In this entry, we're talking about magazines and general "things" you think are worth holding onto. Once you are forced to look and maybe stare at it for a while (ie deciding what to bring into your new house), you start to question why you are holding onto that issues from 2001. For me, the hard part is letting go. That being said, I have stacks of old magazines. The other day I started to look through said magazines. I noticed that there's probably one or two projects/recipes whatever that I want to make. So I'll rip out the page and make a binder using page protectors. The magazine(s) will then be tossed into the recycle bin.

I could use websites like Pinterest or Evernote to help organize the projects I like. But I'm a little old school like that. :)

  2. i'm thankful for pinterest! i have a hard time letting go of old magazines too but find that i never go back through them. then they just sit around looking cluttered. and i find that i actually look back at what i've pinned. so, pinterest works for me. i get that it doesn't for everyone though!
